Dr. Michael Cremo: anomalous discoveries in paleontology #98

Dr. Michael Cremo is co-author of the book Forbidden Archeology and other books about anomalies in archaeology and paleontology.

On January 7, 2020 Fahrusha welcomed Dr. Michael Cremo to “Shattered Reality Podcast” to discuss his discoveries in anomalous paleontology and archaeology. Over the course of an hour he spoke of a few of the voluminous findings of human bones and artifacts that have been dated much earlier than commonly accepted.

The first subject, we discussed was ‘knowledge filtration’, a term describing how scientists react to different categories of evidence that do not agree with their theories. This affects almost all studies in parapsychology, UFOs and much of the research into the nature of consciousness.

Forbidden Archeology argues against the current scientific paradigm that modern homo sapiens is 300,000 years old. We also talked about artifacts such as lithic spheres from Costa Rica and hematite grooved spheres from South Africa that are two billion eight hundred million years old. Some evidence has disappeared from view that contradicts the current scientific paradigm of the age of modern humans.

Dr. Michael Cremo live at ICRL in Princeton, November 2019.

Sierra Nevada Mountains in Western US is a location where human skeletal remains and artifacts were found in strata that were 15 million years old. Cremo deals with extreme human antiquity and leaves the study of alternative history of more recent civilization (20,000- 50,000 years old) on Earth to others, though he finds it compelling.

Ellora Cave Temples in northwestern India may be examples from India of extreme human antiquity. Vimāna are pictured on the walls of those temples. Vimāna are flying palaces or chariots described in Hindu texts and Sanskrit epics. They may be identical with current UFOs. Michael describes three different types of vimāna of different material density.

Fahrusha mentioned that “Shattered Reality Podcast” has had listeners from 22 countries this past week on this venue alone.

Dr. Diana Walsh-Pasulka American Cosmic #80

Author, UFOs and Religion

Dr. Diana Walsh-Pasulka, author of American Cosmic: UFOs, Religion and Technology

On December 18th 2018, Fahrusha was pleased to welcome Dr. Diana Walsh-Pasulka author of American Cosmic: UFOs, Religion and Technology to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. Together they had a spirited conversation about the UFO enigma as religion. They discussed some very anomalous experiences that Diana participated in, in the Southwest of the US. With two others, she found some unusual materials not believed to be manufactured on Earth.

It has become apparent that it is almost impossible to determine what events are real and what events are misreported due to a number of factors. Firstly, events have always been reported according to peoples’ views on the subject and what one person sees is not necessarily what her neighbor sees. Secondly altering photographs successfully beyond detection is now possible, even by semi-professionals. Thirdly, entertainment and news are becoming mixed and intermingled, with a prevalence of docudramas that give some truth and some fiction. In the memory of viewers they perceive the fictionalized accounts as true. Finally augmented reality devices, such as “Oculus Rift” are becoming more common, allowing individuals to step into their own private worlds.

Diana and Fahrusha talked about how traditional religious manifestations such as shared visions and levitation are also factors in the UFO phenomena. They spoke of the Spanish nun, Mary of Agreda who bi-located to the Dulce New Mexico area prior to the arrival of the European explorers, and the celestial manifestations at Fatima in Portugal. They agreed that many factors play a part in the different ways that people experience both UFOs and religious manifestations, especially cultural context.

Dr. Walsh-Pasulka has written and consulted on several other books including Heaven Can Wait: Purgatory in Catholic Devotional and Popular Culture.

Laird Scranton: Ancient Cosmologies #65

Laird Scranton, author on ancient cosmologies

On March 27, 2018 Fahrusha was pleased to welcome Laird Scranton to “Shattered Reality Podcast” to discuss an overview of his work concerning ancient cosmologies in eight books listed below. He is an independent software designer who became interested in Dogon mythology and symbolism in the early 1990s through the works of Jerome Clark and Robert Temple. He has studied ancient myth, language, and cosmology since 1997 and has been a lecturer at Colgate University. He also appears in the late John Anthony West’s Magical Egypt DVD series.

He has written the following books:

The Science of the Dogon: Decoding the African Mystery Tradition;

Sacred Symbols of the Dogon: The Key to Advanced Science in the Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs;

Seeking the Primordial: Exploring Root Concepts of Cosmological Creation;

The Cosmological Origins of Myth and Symbol: From the Dogon and Ancient Egypt to India, Tibet, and China;

Point of Origin: Gobekli Tepe and the Spiritual Matrix for the World’s Cosmologies;

The Velikovsky Heresies: Worlds in Collision and Ancient Catastrophes Revisited;

The Mystery of Skara Brae: Neolithic Scotland and the Origins of Ancient Egypt;

Decoding Maori Cosmology: The Ancient Origins of New Zealand’s Indigenous Culture.

Laird Scranton has been a contributor to several other books.

Cosmology as defined by Miriam Webster dictionary: 1 a: a branch of metaphysics that deals with the nature of the universe, b: a theory or doctrine describing the natural order of the universe. 2: a branch of astronomy that deals with the origin, structure, and space-time relationships of the universe; also : a theory dealing with these.

On this episode we will look at development of our cultural cosmologies from the end of the Ice Age 12000 plus years ago to today, with nearly religious fixation on UFOs by some, and the worldwide cultural mythos of aliens from space via films to an idea of ‘others” as ‘interdimensional ‘ beings. Our guest’s work is rich and complex. He uses the languages and symbols of preliterate cultures and early literate cultures to decode what the ancients thought and finds coherence between cultures geographically dispersed. For instance, the word “etymology” itself has Greek roots: “etymos,” which means, “true sense,” and “logia,” which means, “study of.” Besides helping one to understand the origin of a word, knowing its roots can help one understand other words with similar roots, and can lead the astute to discover amazing mysteries through time.
